The Shiyuzu terrace offers one of Riga’s most spectacular views — a rare cityscape shaped by the waters of the Daugava, the yachts and the marina of the Laivu Centrs yacht club.
By day, the Daugava, the yachts and the open horizon evoke a seaside ambience rarely found in the Baltics. At sunset, the surroundings take on warm hues and the view acquires a subtle Mediterranean character.

The Shiyuzu terrace is defined by vibrant energy rather than silence. Throughout the day and into the evening, its atmosphere comes alive through music, the energy of the open kitchen, the flames of the robata grill and the artistry of the sushi chefs.
Here, the life of the restaurant is not hidden behind closed doors — guests can see, hear and feel everything unfolding around them. It is an atmosphere in which gastronomy becomes part of the complete experience, rather than remaining concealed behind the kitchen walls.
LUNCH AND DINNER ABOARD YOUR YACHT
Shiyuzu is the only place in Riga where the restaurant experience can also be enjoyed aboard your own yacht. Guests can moor at the restaurant’s marina and, within a few steps, take their seat on the terrace — or enjoy the full Shiyuzu dining experience served directly on deck.
Specially adapted shatterproof tableware and packaging allow sushi, dishes from the robata grill, cocktails and other drinks to be served on deck while maintaining the restaurant’s standards of quality and service.
