Effective from 12 June 2026
By purchasing Shiyuzu Gift Cards on www.shiyuzu.lv, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to the terms of this Distance Sales Agreement.
1. Definitions
1.1. Seller – SHIYUZU, SIA, Registration No. 40203450298, registered address: Duntes iela 19A, Riga, Latvia, business address: Eksporta iela 1A, Riga, Latvia.
1.2. Website – the website www.shiyuzu.lv.
1.3. Customer – a natural or legal person purchasing a Gift Card through the Website.
1.4. Gift Card – an electronic or printed Shiyuzu Gift Card.
1.5. Parties – the Seller and the Customer jointly or separately.
2. Conclusions of the agreement
2.1. The Seller sells and the Customer purchases Gift Cards in accordance with the terms of this Distance Sales Agreement.
2.2. The Distance Sales Agreement is deemed concluded when the Customer:
- has selected a Gift Card;
- has provided the information required to place the order;
- has confirmed acceptance of this Distance Sales Agreement, the Gift Card Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy;
- has completed payment.
2.3. After the order has been placed and payment has been completed, the Customer will receive an order confirmation and an invoice at the e-mail address provided.
2.4. The Agreement shall remain in force until all obligations of the Parties have been fully fulfilled.
2.5. If the Customer is a legal entity, it shall be represented by a duly authorised person.
2.6. Consumer protection laws, including the right of withdrawal, apply only to natural persons who qualify as consumers under applicable laws and regulations.
3. Purchase and collection of gift card
3.1. Electronic Gift Cards may be purchased through the Website.
3.2. Printed Gift Cards may be purchased through the Website or at the Shiyuzu restaurant during its opening hours.
3.3. Upon purchase of an electronic Gift Card, the Customer will receive the digital Gift Card and an invoice by e-mail.
3.4. Upon purchase of a printed Gift Card through the Website, the Customer will receive an invoice and information regarding the collection of the Gift Card.
3.5. Printed Gift Cards may be collected from the Shiyuzu restaurant located at Eksporta iela 1A, Riga, Latvia, once the order has been confirmed and payment has been received.
3.6. In exceptional cases, delivery of printed Gift Cards may be arranged individually by prior agreement with the Customer regarding the delivery method, timeframe and costs.
4. Payment terms
4.1. Payments on the Website are accepted on a cashless basis.
4.2. The Customer may pay:
- by Visa or Mastercard payment card;
- through the MultiLink online banking payment system;
- by bank transfer.
4.3. An order shall be considered paid once payment confirmation has been received or once the funds have been credited to the Seller’s bank account.
4.4. The Customer is responsible for ensuring that all payment methods used for the purchase are used lawfully and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
4.5. If payment has been made but the order cannot be fulfilled, the amount paid will be refunded to the Customer without undue delay and no later than within 14 (fourteen) business days.
5. Prices
5.1. All prices displayed on the Website are stated in euros (EUR) and include applicable taxes.
5.2. The Seller reserves the right to change prices at any time by publishing updated information on the Website.
5.3. The price applicable to an order shall be the price in effect at the time the order is placed.
6. Use of gift cards
6.1. The use, validity period and other conditions relating to Gift Cards are governed by the Shiyuzu Gift Card Terms and Conditions available on the Website.
6.2. Gift Cards are valid for 6 (six) months from the date of purchase.
6.3. Gift Cards may be redeemed at the Shiyuzu restaurant.
6.4. The full value of the Gift Card must be used during a single visit.
7. Right of withdrawal
7.1. Consumers have the right to withdraw from the Distance Sales Agreement within 14 (fourteen) days from the date of receipt of the electronic or printed Gift Card without giving any reason.
7.2. The right of withdrawal applies only to unused Gift Cards.
7.3. If a Gift Card has been used in full or in part, the right of withdrawal shall not apply and no refund will be issued.
7.4. In the event of withdrawal, electronic and printed Gift Cards do not need to be physically returned. Upon approval of the withdrawal request, the Gift Card will be cancelled.
7.5. The procedure for exercising the right of withdrawal is governed by the Shiyuzu Gift Card Return and Withdrawal Policy.
7.6. The right of withdrawal applies only to Gift Cards purchased through www.shiyuzu.lv. Gift Cards purchased at the Shiyuzu restaurant or any other point of sale are not subject to the right of withdrawal, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
8. Processing of personal data
8.1. Personal data is processed in accordance with the Shiyuzu Privacy Policy and applicable laws and regulations.
8.2. By placing an order, the Customer confirms that they have read and understood the Privacy Policy.
9. Liability of the parties
9.1. Each Party shall be liable for damages caused to the other Party as a result of its actions, omissions or fault.
9.2. The Seller shall not be liable for losses arising from disruptions to internet services, electronic communications, payment systems or services provided by third parties.
9.3. The Seller shall not be liable for consequences arising from incorrect information provided by the Customer, including incorrect e-mail addresses, telephone numbers or other details.
10. Force majeure
10.1. The Parties shall not be liable for failure to perform their obligations if such failure is caused by force majeure circumstances.
10.2. Force majeure circumstances include, but are not limited to, war, natural disasters, strikes, decisions of public authorities and other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Parties.
11. Dispute resolution
11.1. Complaints and enquiries may be submitted by e-mail to info@shiyuzu.lv.
11.2. The Parties shall first seek to resolve disputes through mutual negotiations.
11.3. If an amicable resolution cannot be reached, the dispute shall be resolved in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia.

13. Final provision
13.1. This Distance Sales Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia.
13.2. This Distance Sales Agreement has been prepared in the Latvian language. If a translation into another language is provided, the Latvian version shall prevail in the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency.
13.3. This Distance Sales Agreement is effective from 12 June 2026.
