Information regarding the photography and/or filming of events organised by Shiyuzu, as well as the storage and publication of photographs and video recordings.

Since 25 May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) has been applicable in Latvia and throughout the European Union.

1. Please be informed that events and activities organised by Shiyuzu may be photographed and/or filmed for the purpose of creating and maintaining Shiyuzu’s public image, increasing brand awareness, and promoting the Shiyuzu brand, its services, events, and marketing activities.

2. By attending or participating in events organised by Shiyuzu, event participants and visitors may be photographed and/or recorded in video materials.

3. Photographs and video recordings obtained during events may be processed electronically and published on the Shiyuzu website, social media accounts, advertising materials, press publications, or other media channels.

4. The legal basis for the processing of personal data is Shiyuzu’s legitimate interest in promoting the company’s visibility, informing the public about organised events, and documenting its business activities.

5. Data subjects have the right to request access to their personal data, request rectification or erasure of personal data, restrict processing, or object to processing in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

6. Erasure of personal data may not be possible where the processing of personal data is necessary:

• to protect the legitimate interests of Shiyuzu or another person;
• to comply with legal obligations imposed by applicable laws and regulations;
• to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

7. Photographs and video recordings will be retained for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes specified in Clause 1 of these Terms or for as long as Shiyuzu has a legitimate interest in retaining and using such materials.

8. Personal data obtained during events will not be disclosed to third parties, except where required by applicable laws and regulations or where necessary for the provision of services (for example, website, social media, or marketing service providers).

9. Where an event is organised by a third party on Shiyuzu premises, the respective event organiser shall be responsible for the processing of personal data carried out during that event.
