By using the website www.shiyuzu.lv, making a table reservation, purchasing Gift Cards, or otherwise using any services available on the Website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Use.
1. Definitions
1.1. Shiyuzu – SHIYUZU, SIA, Registration No. 40203450298.
1.2. Website – the website www.shiyuzu.lv.
1.3. User – any person who visits or uses the Website.
1.4. Services – services available through the Website, including table reservations, Gift Card purchases, information requests, and other services.
1.5. Gift Card – an electronic or printed Shiyuzu Gift Card.
2. General provisions
2.1. The Website is intended to provide information about the Shiyuzu restaurant, its services, menu, events, and Gift Cards.
2.2. Shiyuzu reserves the right to update or modify the content of the Website, the range of services, prices, opening hours, and other information at any time by publishing updated information on the Website.
2.3. The User is responsible for ensuring that any information provided is accurate and up to date.
2.4. Shiyuzu shall not be liable for any losses arising from inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information provided by the User.
3. Table reservations
3.1. Table reservations may be made through the Website or through other reservation channels designated by Shiyuzu.
3.2. Shiyuzu reserves the right to contact the customer to confirm or clarify a reservation.
3.3. If a customer is unable to attend at the reserved time, Shiyuzu kindly requests that the reservation be cancelled in advance.
3.4. Shiyuzu reserves the right to refuse or cancel a reservation for objective reasons, including technical or operational circumstances.
4. Gift card purchases
4.1. The purchase and use of Gift Cards are governed by the Shiyuzu Gift Card Terms and Conditions, Distance Sales Agreement, Payment Terms, Delivery Terms, Withdrawal Policy, Privacy Policy, and any other policies published on the Website, to the extent applicable to the relevant service.
4.2. Gift Cards may only be purchased in accordance with the terms published on the Website.
4.3. Shiyuzu reserves the right to refuse or cancel a transaction if there is reasonable suspicion of fraudulent or unlawful activity.
5. Payments
5.1. All payments on the Website shall be made using the payment methods offered by Shiyuzu.
5.2. The User is fully responsible for the lawful use of payment cards, online banking credentials, and any other payment instruments.
5.3. Shiyuzu shall not be liable for disruptions or failures of third-party payment systems.
6. Intellectual property rights
6.1. All information, texts, photographs, graphic elements, designs, logos, and other materials published on the Website are the property of Shiyuzu or the respective rights holders.
6.2. Without the prior written consent of Shiyuzu, it is prohibited to copy, reproduce, distribute, or otherwise use any content of the Website for commercial purposes.
7. Prohibited activities
Users are prohibited from:
- using the Website for unlawful purposes;
- providing false or misleading information;
- interfering with the operation of the Website or attempting to gain unauthorised access to its systems;
- distributing malware or other harmful software;
- violating applicable laws and regulations.
8. Cookies
8.1. The Website may use cookies to ensure the proper functioning of the Website, improve user experience, analyse Website usage, and support marketing activities.

9. Processing of personal data
9.1. Personal data is processed in accordance with the Shiyuzu Privacy Policy and applicable laws and regulations.
9.2. By using the Website, the User confirms that they have read and understood the Privacy Policy.
10. Limitations of liability
10.1. Shiyuzu makes every reasonable effort to ensure the continuous availability of the Website; however, it does not guarantee that the Website will always be available without interruptions or technical errors.
10.2. Shiyuzu shall not be liable for any losses arising from technical disruptions of the Website, actions of third parties, or force majeure events.
10.3. Shiyuzu reserves the right to temporarily restrict or suspend access to the Website at any time for maintenance, upgrades, or other objective reasons.
11. Force majeure
11.1. Shiyuzu shall not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations if such failure or delay is caused by force majeure circumstances.
11.2. Force majeure circumstances include, but are not limited to, war, natural disasters, strikes, decisions of public authorities, and other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Shiyuzu.
12. Dispute resolution
12.1. Questions, complaints, or suggestions may be submitted by e-mail to info@shiyuzu.lv.
12.2. Any disputes shall first be resolved through mutual negotiations.
12.3. If an amicable resolution cannot be reached, the dispute shall be resolved in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia.

14. Final provisions
14.1. These Terms of Use shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia.
14.2. Shiyuzu reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use at any time by publishing the updated version on the Website. Any amendments shall take effect upon publication unless stated otherwise.
14.3. Users are responsible for regularly reviewing the current version of these Terms of Use.
14.4. These Terms of Use are effective from 12 June 2026.
14.5. These Terms of Use have been prepared in the Latvian language. If a translation into another language is provided, the Latvian version shall prevail in the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency.
Payment methods
1. Payment by bank card
Purchases made through the Shiyuzu website may be paid for using Visa and Mastercard credit or debit cards.
If payment has been made but the order cannot be fulfilled, the Buyer will receive a refund within 14 (fourteen) business days.
2. Online banking
Buyers may pay for their purchases via online banking using the MultiLink online payment system.
MultiLink allows customers of Citadele and other major Baltic banks to make secure and convenient payments directly from their bank account using online banking or a mobile banking application.
3. Payment by Bank Transfer
The Buyer may also pay by bank transfer using the bank details provided on the invoice.
An order is considered paid once the funds have been received in Shiyuzu’s bank account.
If payment has been made but the order cannot be fulfilled, the Buyer will receive a refund within 14 (fourteen) business days.
Delivery terms
1. Electronic Gift Cards may be purchased through the Shiyuzu website. Once payment has been received and the order has been processed, the Electronic Gift Card and invoice will be sent to the Buyer’s specified email address.
2. Physical Gift Cards may be purchased through the Shiyuzu website or at the Shiyuzu restaurant during its opening hours.
3. When purchasing a Physical Gift Card through the Shiyuzu website, the Buyer will receive an invoice and information regarding how to collect the Gift Card by email.
4. Physical Gift Cards are available for collection at the Shiyuzu restaurant during its opening hours after the order has been confirmed and paid for.
5. Once the order is ready for collection, the Buyer will receive a notification via the email address or telephone number provided when placing the order.
6. In certain cases, delivery of Physical Gift Cards may be arranged individually upon prior agreement with the Buyer regarding the delivery method, timeframe, and costs.
7. The Seller shall not be liable for delays resulting from incomplete or inaccurate contact information provided by the Buyer or from circumstances beyond the Seller’s control.
8. If a Physical Gift Card is collected by a third party, the Buyer must inform the Seller in advance.

Gift card returns and right of withdrawal
1. The Consumer has the right to withdraw from the purchase agreement within 14 (fourteen) days from the date on which the gift card was received, without giving any reason.
2. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Buyer must send the Seller a completed withdrawal form or an unequivocal statement of withdrawal containing the order number, details of the purchased gift card, the Buyer’s full name (for natural persons) or company name, registration number and registered address (for legal entities), telephone number, email address, and bank account number, if the refund is to be made by bank transfer.
3. To meet the withdrawal deadline, the Buyer must send the notice concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires or no later than 24:00 on the last day of the withdrawal period.
4. The right of withdrawal applies only to unused gift cards.
5. If the gift card has been used in whole or in part, the right of withdrawal shall not apply, and no refund will be issued.
6. Upon receipt of the withdrawal notice, the Seller will verify the status of the gift card. If it is determined that the gift card has not been used, the Seller will confirm the exercise of the right of withdrawal and cancel the gift card. Once cancelled, the gift card can no longer be used.
7. In the event of the return of either an electronic or a physical gift card, no physical return of the gift card is required.
8. A withdrawal form may be requested by emailing info@shiyuzu.lv. The Buyer may submit the completed withdrawal form or an unequivocal statement of withdrawal to info@shiyuzu.lv.
9. Once the withdrawal notice has been received and the Seller has verified that the gift card has not been used, the Seller shall refund all payments received from the Buyer without undue delay and no later than 14 (fourteen) days thereafter.
10. The refund will be made using the same payment method that the Buyer used for the original transaction, unless the Buyer and the Seller have expressly agreed otherwise.
11. The 14 (fourteen) day right of withdrawal applies only to gift cards purchased through the online store at www.shiyuzu.lv.
